Award-winning documentary producer and reporter, with seven years international experience. In November 2018, the BBC featured Brigitte as part of their 100 Women Series. She has produced video content for NGOS, media organisations and multinationals across West Africa. Her first feature-length documentary as lead producer and reporter, My Stolen Childhood, received the Association International Broadcasting (AIB) Award for Best Documentary: Human Interest Category. Brigitte has featured on several international media networks including CNN, CBS, BBC, Huffington Post and Marie Claire Magazine. Brigitte has a deep passion for producing meaningful and impactful documentaries – with the view to inspiring others.

Brigitte is passionate about promoting the power of owning one’s narrative to change mainstream perspectives through the combination of stunning imagery and stimulating messages. She has demonstrated the ability to combine professional and personal experiences to promote resilience, tenacity and strength in audiences.
In July 2017, she was reunited with international journalist, Christiane Amanpour whom she first met at the age of seven. In a sit-down with CNN’s Amanpour, Brigitte reflects on her journey to self-discovery and the need for an enabling, safe environment for girls to thrive.
In December, 2017 she partnered with Skim Network to speak to an audience of two hundred professionals on the connection between media and survivors of abuse and violence and the need to work together to humanize individual stories.
In 2016, Brigitte also partnered with the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights at Florida State University to speak on child slavery and the role of higher education institutions and the relationship between child labor and international corporations. She has also featured in publications including, Marie Claire Magazine and Burning Tree Magazine.
Brigitte is also the Tebah Educational Initiative, Inc (T.E.I) ambassador; An educational engagement program targeted at the educational development of young children between the ages of 12 – 18 while serving as humanitarian assistance to children within the ages 5 to 11.
