Climate change is a global problem. Pollutants emitted into the atmosphere by human activity endangers our planet at a frightening rate. In Africa, the story is no different.

Severe droughts, food shortages and precarious weather conditions are the disturbing signals that the earth is unable to function fully as it used to. There is an urgent need to spread far and wide, a candid assessment of the imminent dangers climate change poses on our continent.

In this documentary training tool, Wanjira Mathai, Director of the Partnership For Women’s Entrepreneurship in Rewnables at Wangari Maathai Institue for Peace and Environmental Studies, explores in detail, the effects climate-change is already having.

Through her extensive narrative, from emergency migration to natural disasters precipitated by climatic changes, our own actions are reflected upon, accompanied by the practical solutions available to us.
